Marvel Sweeps Offers Walk-On Movie Role

Marvel Entertainment is giving consumers a new reason to go to the movies.

The company's has launched a sweepstakes awarding a grand-prize of a walk-on role in an upcoming Marvel movie.

Fans can enter at Marvel.com/Be_In_A_Marvel_Movie. In addition to the guest appearance, the top winner gets airfare to Los Angeles, hotel accommodations and use of a rental car. Lesser prizes include Marvel books and subscriptions to Amazing Spider-Man, Iron Man or Fantastic Four comic book series.

Marvel Entertainment is the creator behind best know super heroes, including
Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and X-Men characters.

Online materials support the sweepstakes, which runs through Aug. 10. RPMC, Inc., Calabasas, CA, handles the promotion for Marvel.
