Pizza Hut Pushes Pies with Instant-Win Game, Sweeps

Pizza Hut is out with an instant-win game and sweepstakes that turns people into wordsmiths to find the perfect way to describe its Crunchy Cheesy Crust Pizza.

Visitors to http://www.describethecrunch.com can crunch together words from a list on the interactive site to describe the company’s newest product through Feb. 15. For instant, the words, lip-smacking and scrumptious form the word “lip-smackumptious.” People then submit their creations to be entered into a sweepstakes.

Each day, Pizza Hut will name a winning word, where the creator will receive Crunch Cheesy Crust Pizza for a year.

Between Feb. 16 and March 8, people can vote for their favorite word on the site from the top 20 entries. The grand-prize winner will receive $10,000 in sporting event tickets and an electronics prize package, including a 46-inch HDTV, a digital camera, a home theater system and a DVD player.

The Crunchy Cheesy Crust Pizza is a traditional Pizza Hut pie with cheese and seasonings baked on top of the crust. A large one-topping pizza is available for $11.99 for a limited time.
