Patty Odell joined PROMO as managing editor in March 2003. Prior to that she was the news editor of sister publication DIRECT magazine and editor of DIRECT Newsline as well as the online content editor. She had been with DIRECT since 1997. Prior to joining Penton, Patty worked as a reporter and community page editor for the Stamford Advocate, a daily newspaper in Stamford, CT. She graduated from the New York University School of Journalism.

Brian Quinton is the executive editor of Chief Marketer magazine and editor at large for PROMO. He has been with Penton Media's marketing group since 2004, when he joined DIRECT as a senior writer. Previously he covered telecom for Telephony, now Connected Planet.
