WE Brings Style Via Mobile Campaign

Cable network WE: Women's Entertainment is bringing style tips to a cell phone near you under a mobile marketing campaign designed to drive viewership of the network's new series Style Me With Rachel Hunter.

Under the campaign, viewers log on to WE.tv to enter their mobile number. In return, WE will send weekly messages recorded by model Rachel Hunter to viewers' cell phones with style tips. The campaign coincides with last night's premiere of Style Me With Rachel Hunter and runs through March 1.

The promotion marks WE's first-ever mobile marketing campaign; ipsh!, San Francisco, CA, handles.

"WE is always seeking out non-traditional marketing initiatives that allow us to speak to our core audience of women beyond the linear network," said Jennifer Robertson, VP-consumer marketing for WE. "This mobile platform is an exciting initiative for WE."

Hosted by Rachel Hunter, Style Me is a reality-based show that seeks to create the next top celebrity stylist. In the show, twelve contestants vie for top spot and the chance to win $10,000, a one-year contract with a talent agency and the opportunity to style Rachel Hunter for an A-list, red carpet event. Style Me airs Mondays at 10 p.m. ET.
