Mexican Snacks Pack Game CDs

Mexican baker Bimbo is courting U.S. kids with videogame CDs in packages of Marinela brand snack cakes and cookies.

In-pack games goose back-to-school sales

CD-ROMs in packs of Marinela Gansito snack cakes and Barritas Marinela feature the brand's spokescharacter Gansito ("little goose") undertaking sports adventures.

CDs are in English and Spanish; the promo runs July 26-Sept. 6, timed to back-to-school. Marinela gave away in-pack CDs for the first time last year. BrandGames, New York City, handles for Mexico City-based Bimbo.
