Kahlua and Russell Stover Partner in Valentine's Promo
In celebration of Valentine's Day, Kahlua and Russell Stover are offering rebates and instant coupons to consumers who indulge in a sip of coffee liqueur and a bite of chocolate.
Consumers who purchase one bottle of Kahlua (750ml or
larger) and one box of Russell Stover Chocolates will receive a $5
mail-in rebate coupon. In states that allow instant redeemable coupons
such as Kansas, Michigan, West Virginia and Ohio, consumers will
receive a coupon to save $3.
The coupons200,000 were printedfeature the recipe for a Kahlua White Russian, suggesting a Russell Stover Chocolate as a Valentine garnish.
The brands share the same target audience, women and men ages 30-44, the companies said.
The promotion runs January and February in drug store and grocery
stores across the U.S. Shelf talkers, case cards and floor displays
support. Publicis, New York, handled the promotion.
