Iams Hosts Pet Adoption Campaign

Procter & Gamble's Iams Co. is hosting its annual pet-adoption drive pegged to the holidays.

The Iams Home 4 the Holidays effort seeks to place 350,000 cats and dogs in new homes this season. Tie-ins with the Helen Woodward Animal Center and 2,000 animal shelters encourage consumers to adopt a pet; those that do get an Iams Adoption Kit with pet food and a guide to pet care. The drive runs through Jan. 2.

This is the sixth year that Iams and the shelters have collaborated on the adoption drive, which began with 14 shelters.
