"Our unique tracks contain smart chips that are programmed to cause special "track reader engines" to perform a range of different activities. One Smart Track reverses the train's direction, another makes it stop and still others sound its horn, speed up or slow down the engine." said Kay Thomson, senior product manager at Brio Corp. USA.

The promotional flip books Brio created with New York city-based Flippies do a great job demonstrating product features while underscoring the inherent fun and simplicity of Smart Track, Thomson said. And buyers love the novelty, she added.
