Marketing Drive Adds Staff

Marketing Drive Worldwide has hired a handful of new staffers, two of them from Ryan Partnership.

Angie McDermott becomes client director, replacing Jim Murray as the account lead on Pernod Ricard in Marketing Drive’s Norwalk, CT office. McDermott had been managing director of innovation at Ryan. She joined Marketing Drive in October.

Also moving from Ryan in Tommy Cavnor, who becomes senior client executive, a new post. He had been a program manager at Westport, CT-based Ryan and, like McDermott, has been at Marketing Drive for a few months, having joined the agency in September.

Also in September, Andy Jefferson became digital production artist in Marketing Drive’s Boston office; he had been a graphic designer at Davis Advertising, Worcester, MA.

Marketing Drive’s additional hires are recent college grads. Vance Kiviranna took the new post of senior graphic designer in Boston, handling clients EPA and ExxonMobil. He graduated from the Rochester Institute of Technology, and joined Marketing Drive in October. Steve Fcasni and Corey Meek become account coordinators in the Norwalk office. Fcasni graduated from the University of New Haven and had internships with LeadDog Marketing Group, New York, and the Lakewood BlueClaws Minor League Baseball Club. He is the agency’s newest hire, in December. Meek graduated from the University of Kansas, and has been at Marketing Drive since October.

Marketing Drive ranked No. 25 in the 2006 PROMO 100 with estimated 2005 net revenues of $60.5 million, up an estimated 10% from 2003.
