Grand Prize Marketing Opens its Doors
Kevin Mendelson, a long-time promotional products distributor, has opened Grand Prize Marketing.
The firm offers fund-raising and incentive programs called “prize packs” to help businesses, charitable organizations and educational institutions. The packs are bundled in numerous themes such as golf, cruises, home entertainment and recreation and can be used for employee incentive programs, fund-raising efforts, sweepstakes prizes and other efforts.
“It’s the idea where someone comes to you and says, ‘We want to do a holiday promotion, what do you have,’ and we build that entire program around that theme,” Mendelson said.
Before opening Grand Prize Marketing, Mendelson worked for 12 years at Mercury Promotions and Fulfillment, a subsidiary of Mars, most recently as vice president of promotions and incentives. Grand Prize Marketing is based in Bloomfield Hills, MI.
Mendelson’s past and present clients include: AT&T, CBS, IBM, Eaton, Little Caesars, L’Oreal, Nestlé, Phillip Morris, Republic Services, Sports Illustrated, SPX Corporation, The Oakland Press, Woodward Dream Cruise and WXYZ-TV.
