Draftfcb Hires Orlov as President of Europe/Middle East

Draftfcb’s has hired Alexei Orlov as regional president for Europe/Middle East, which encompasses 28 offices in 20 countries.

Orlov will begin working in the agency’s regional headquarters in London on Sept. 4.

Most recently, Orlov worked for Wunderman Worldwide as executive vice chairman and CEO of global automotive operations. He managed relationships across 40 countries for Ford, Jaguar, Land Rover, Lincoln, Mercury, Volvo, Mazda and Rolls-Royce.  He joined Wunderman in 2000 after selling ROCQM, his own independent strategic communications agency that worked with such clients as Aquascutum, House of Fraser, Austin Reed, Countryside, Kodak, Mazda and more, to WPP plc.

Orlov replaces David Florence, who for the past two years has been running the region from New York. Florence will leave gthe agency now that the function has been relocated to London.
