Allen & Gerritsen has boosted its offerings with the addition of brand promotion.

Chris Donnelly has been hired as managing director of A&G Brand Promotion to head the group. His responsibilities include strategic promotion planning, tactical management, experiential marketing, partnership marketing and field marketing.

Donnelly has worked as a “strategic partner” with A&G for many years, the company said.

He brings more than 25 years of experience in the brand promotion industry including client promotion, merchandising and licensing positions at Allied Signal and Dunkin’ Brands.

For the past nine years, he was president of Geiger Donnelly Marketing, which was acquired by NMA Entertainment & Marketing/New England. Donnelly has extensive brand experience in automotive aftermarket, restaurant, franchising, footwear, food, dairy, financial and retail industries. Past clients include Baskin Robbins, Dunkin Donuts, New Balance, Cabot, Nantucket Nectars, DuPont and Checkers, A&G said.
