PROMO's 2007 Reenergized Relaunch Agency Contest
We’re making some BIG, reenergizing changes at PROMO in 2007. We’ve done research to find out what you need, and now we’re going to give you just what you want:

To help us relaunch PROMO we held the Re-energized Relaunch Agency Contest and asked the PROMO 100—the country's top marketing and promotion agencies—to come up with an online ad that shows readers what's new with PROMO.

Marketing Drive Worldwide
Entry title: Fully Loaded -- The New PROMO
Entry format: Primary entry is the 300x250 banner, linked to the 320x240 Flash video interstitial, linked to the 800x500 landing page.
Description: To convey PROMO's evolution, sleek new look, cutting-edge content and new features, we used the concept of showcasing a new luxury automobile. The banner ad offers the audience the ability to take a "test drive." The test drive takes them on the road, off-roading and through the retail aisles in the form of a Flash movie that then drops them off back at the showroom. In the showroom, they can interact with this sleek, new ride and discover all the updated features of the magazine. In addition, they are exposed to all, if not most, of the PROMO franchise with 4 opportunities to subscribe. To drive trial, we've worked in a promotion for a free trial offer (to be determined by PROMO).
We approached this assignment as a campaign. Our primary entry is the 300x250 banner, linked to the 320x240 Flash video interstitial, linked to the 800x500 landing page. We've also included a campaign extension in the form of a 728x90 banner that would link to the interstitial then the landing page as well.

Entry title: Anywhere and Everywhere
Entry format: Flash movie
Description: This energetic ad showcases the multi-functionality of the PROMO brand in a world where everything must be portable and accessible at all times. Marketers and agency professionals can "fill their heads" with all that the PROMO brand has to offer - tricks of the trade, inspiring individuals, successful programs and more. It doesn't matter how you get all that PROMO has to offer, or where you are when you get it, just that you get all of the PROMO resources to get a "leg up on the competition" and "rock the consumer."
What makes a good ad? The fact that you remember you saw a good ad, and it made you think.

Description: Unwrapping the new face of PROMO Magazine.
While the look of PROMO Magazine has been re-energized and changed, it is really what's inside that is different. Not only is the content different, but so is the focus of the magazine. It's almost like a gift. You have to unwrap it to see what's inside.
